Taylor's journey to fame began her career on YouTube. She began by making ASMR videos with her smartphone. Helfer was born in rural Donalda, Alberta, Canada, to Dennis Elaine and Dennis Elaine Helfer. Her parents are of German, English and Swedish descent. She went to William E. Hay Composite High School located in Stettler. The school was located on the family's farm with her three sisters: Trena, Tammy and Tara. At age 17 a modeling scout of an agency came across Helfer as she waited in line for a cinema.
